(strategic plans and goals)

Bishop John has asked all parishes, schools and organisations to report their strategic plans and goals to Synod.

We suggest you go about it like this:

1. Your leadership team looks at the current ministry and then formulates questions about it.
2. These questions are used in interviews with people from the wider membership.
3. The responses are collated by a working group.
4. At the next team meeting goals, strategies and next steps for the year are formulated.
5. The results are shared with the congregation or members of the organisation.
6. The agreed goals, strategies and next steps are finalised.
7. Then they are shared with the rest of the diocesan community:
   • on this website - A representative from the parish, school or organisation will be able to directly enter information on the website by logging in here.
   • at Synod - during the Diocesan Gathering on 21 May.

Before then, the work of achieving the goals, by the grace of God, will have begun.
