A memorable All Saints Day In SwanseaFor many years the Swansea Anglican Women's Guild have discussed complimenting All Saints' Church by completing its set of stained glass windows. The fruition of this long awaited project was celebrated with the dedication of the window by the Revd Henry Ivey on All Saints Day 2006. Included in the congregation were guild members, their extended band of helpers, also descendants whose families have had strong ties with the church over the years. The window has relevance to the women of the parish, who since the laying of the foundation stone in 1871, have given their support to All Saints in so many varied ways. It was designed by Merinda Young of Tudor Glass, Kingston, and depicts the washing of Jesus' feet, accompanied by the text 'What she has done will be told in memory of her.' (Matthew 26:11 (GNB)
