‘Good News Week’
Mission to Dorset

In the week before Easter the Anglican Parish of Dorset hosted a mission week run by a team from Sydney Missionary and Bible College. The team was busy.

They: visited Primary Schools and Scottsdale High School, and the local nursing home and hostel; took Sunday services in Anglican and Uniting churches; ran a women’s morning and a dinner in the pub ‘It’s God’s Shout!’; ran men’s breakfast at the local Pentecostal church and a disco with a message about living life to the max – with Jesus; held a primary-aged Western night, culminating on the second Sunday with a Family Festival in a park in Scottsdale.

It was a great week – many people of all ages heard the gospel, some good contacts were made; people experienced the love of God; the team brought encouragement and inspiration; and the Christians of the North East of Tassie experienced the joy of serving and ministering the gospel of grace together.
