Resource for missions

For the past six years Lance Strickland has been handling the used postage stamps that have been sold for the benefit of our overseas missions. In that time he has handled in excess of three and a half million stamps, and has helped to raise a considerably large sum of money, despite that fact that many stamps had to be discarded because they were damaged or not correctly trimmed.

Unfortunately because of his age, Lance has given notice that he will not continue with this voluntary task beyond the end of March 2006 and asks if someone would be prepared to take on this work. He is prepared to train a successor and to assist for a few hours per week.

If you can assist please phone the Diocesan Office 6220 2020

Lance Strickland hopes that someone will volunteer to take over the valuable work of raising money for missions, through the sale of used postage stamps.
