Books from SummerviewColin Chapman was an inspiring speaker at CMS Summerview and his knowledge of the Islamic world is vast. He has written several books on the subject and he showed his latest book, Cross and Crescent. (See above R.)This is a workbook which encourages the reader to discuss and learn more about Islam. Bishop John was presented with a copy of this resource and inquiries about it may be made to the Diocesan Office. One comment made by Colin Chapman which made a huge impression on many of those at the conference was his response to the question What should a Christian say to a Muslim? He said simply, Hello! And smile. Of special interestThe Anglican Book Room had a well-stocked stall at Summerview and of special interest were Sue Mortons Angels in the Rafters, a compilation of accounts by students and teachers of the Murree School shootings, and Andrew Lakes book Lakes View: Thoughts on Practical Spirituality. (See lower R.)
