Nostalgia Now opens doors

Len W. Langan tells how the people of Longford were invaded by a very friendly personality carrying the keys to their store of recollections.

As we opened these doors we found ourselves looking backwards and yet forwards at the same time. Yes, our lives have been tinged with all the joys and sadnesses of our human existence, but in memories of things, places and people we found a new gift. We opened a 'third eye' enabling us to better appreciate all the things our Creator has given us. Yes, the tapestries of our lives are surprisingly rich and colourful. Yet, when we study them we find the weaving astonishingly intricate and curiously directional, for they point us onwards as we strive to hear the voice of Christ saying to us 'Well done thou good and faithful servant.'

Our advice for any who have not taken the opportunity of a trip with Nostalgia Now is to jump on board as soon as possible. We at Longford can only say 'Thank you, Bruce Geeves, for sharing part of your Ministry with us.'
