History of the Christian Motorcycle Association of Australia (CMA) In 1979 a meeting took place in Sydney of representatives of two Christian motorcycle clubs, The Brotherhood and The Disciples, and a number of individual riders. Their intention was to form an association of Christian riders, that would enable them to be linked in fellowship. Since then the CMA has spread to every State in Australia. CMA's purpose is outreach to others by sharing the message of God's love, shown in Jesus, encouraging and nurturing Christian motorcyclists to help them grow in their faith. CMA consists of people of varied ages and backgrounds, riding a wide range of motorcycles. Being involved in CMA builds bridges of friendship through the enjoyment of motorcycle riding. As a Christian organisation we enjoy fellowship and involvement in activities that are honouring to God. We believe the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ guides us and we are supported by the Christian churches.
