		The Kriol Baibul 43 years with CMS in NT
			When Lance and Gwen Tremlett very simply told the CMS summer conference at Bicheno in January that the translation of the entire Bible into Kriol was complete there was spontaneous, warm applause. This is the first complete Bible in any Aboriginal language. The Tremletts described the longing of Aboriginal Christians to have the Scriptures in their own language, and the strong commitment of the Aboriginal and mission communities to this huge task. Lance and Gwen first went from NSW to serve in the Northern Territory with CMS in the early 60s, Lance as a carpenter and Gwen as a teacher. After more than 40 years including the last 17 as translators in remote locations in the Outback, they plan to return in June to work in Darwin on preparing the Kriol Baibul translation for printing. A real sense of joy Listening to the Tremletts is a challenging experience, as one glimpses a lifetime of unstinting service to God, a deep love for the people whom they serve, a real sense of joy and unquestioning obedience as they prepare for another term in the field. Lance and Gwen talk about the grief which permeates the communities where they serve. But they leave you in no doubt where the solution lies - in a personal relationship with the Lord they love and serve.
