Two Christian Bands to tour in February 2005 Anglican Camping and Scripture Union are committed to youth work, and during the summer months these organisations will reach out to youth with the Good News. There will be Beach Missions and summer activities will include a tour by the bands Elsewhere and Access Denied, who have played on secular radio and at Christian events. As one of the band members said recently 'we are pumped for Tassie.' Here is some background info on them.Members of Elsewhere are Andy on guitar, Mark on keyboard, Bandy on bass, Glen on guitar, Rowan on drums. They like to listen to Foo Fighters, Something Corporate, Further Seems Forever, Bon Jovi and Dave Matthews. They want to tour Tasmania bacause 'it sounds heaps of fun' and 'we've never been there before.' Access Denied play a bit like Blink 182 and Crood Charlotte and are about to launch their new album. There will be concerts in schools and colleges and churches and public concerts on Friday18 February 2005 at St Aidan's, Launceston at 7.30 pm and on Saturday 19 February 2005 at BayWest, Sandy Bay at 7.30 pm.
