Commendable ministry in Ulverstone |

Over the years a number of women from Holy Trinity in Ulverstone have conducted a monthly lunch from the church premises. This has resulted in $11 684 being raised for the Anglican Missionary Society by these very capable, efficient and friendly women who freely give of their time and provide food every month for this very worthwhile cause. These lunches have become a social point for a lot of the older people in Ulverstone and for $6 provide soup, sandwiches and dessert with tea and coffee - very reasonable in this day and age. These women are to be commended for their efforts in not only raising a substantial amount for charity but providing a social function for the older people in our community. |
