Approximately twenty five people began their Easter celebrations at Port Sorell with a Passover meal, which the capable Marie Mansfield and Dot Tuck prepared with some help in somewhat difficult catering facilities! A commentary on the traditions of the Passover meal added to the understanding of the celebration - a very meaningful evening. Earlier in the week St Peter's, Port Sorell helped Mrs Dolly Poate, much-loved and still active member of the church and local community, to celebrate her ninetieth birthday. Congratulations! |
