The space in question is in the grounds of Christ Church, Longford. The Anglican Men's Society will install a new notice-board, but not just any notice-board. This one will be interactive: 'high and lifted up'. Operated on a winding mechanism, the board will provide easy-to-read information for the passing parade. The parish is confident its visual impact will be part of the transforminglife-there's that word again-which our parish is embracing. In other news the Parish Fair in February was greatly successful and AMS hosted a state council meeting at Longford with a wonderful service and a condimentary (sic) message from Bishop John Harrower in his address. And a great lunch to complete the day! |
