More than one hundred and sixty people from around the state gathered in the Hamilton Hall on 22 February to witness the launch of Hamilton's Enabler Supported Ministry, the commissioning of the parish and team, and the ordination of deacons. The local ministry support team is Ellen Clark (Deacon), Mary Downie, Jean Hayes, Charlotte Pitt, Elizabeth Shoobridge and Martin Woolley (Deacon) with the Enabler the Rev. James Collins. The special cake was cut by the oldest and the youngest persons in the parish, seen in the photo. |
