Anglican Men's Society

by Max Robinson

There was a good attendance at the Anglican Men's Society-sponsored parish dinner at St Mary's, Moonah, on Friday 14 November. The after-dinner speaker was Kim Macgowan of the Hobart District Nursing Service. Kim enlightened those present of this worthwhile community service.

These parish dinners, organised by the members of the Moonah Branch of the AMS, are held about three times each year and have been going for many years - good food and fellowship for the parishioners and their friends.

The State AMS will hold a fellowship morning at St Matthew's Church Centre in New Norfolk on Saturday 14 February 2004. This is for members and wives with an open invitation to anyone who would like to attend. It will be a casual affair with the opportunity to meet with Anglicans from throughout the Diocese.
