If you go up to George Town today, Sunday the 29th of June was all about teddies, clowns, quizzes, balloons, more teddies, children, mums and dads, even more teddies, grandmas and grandpas, aunties and uncles and a special visit from G-Town Ted to celebrate God's love for us. Every year we like to send invitations to families who have had children baptised and invite them to come along with their teddies and share in a gathering of fun filled picnic and celebrations, followed by a teddy bears picnic. Over 80 people gathered to praise and picnic together. It's a wonderful opportunity to get to know families better and have fun and fellowship at the same time. Together@10.30We were delighted to see many families who don't normally come to church. We have also had several inquiries from this Sunday, to join in on Sunday school and our new monthly 'Together@10.30 service'. This has become an outreach Ministry that is bringing results. |
