Anglican Cursillo Tasmania

The start to the year has been a busy one.

Planning Day at The Grange, Campbell Town on 22 February as preceded by an Agapé meal on the Friday evening. 12 Secretariat and Servant Community members gathered in a relaxed atmosphere to share a delicious meal interspersed with prayer, praise, thanksgiving and fellowship.

The evening was led by Carol Romoser; with assistance from Janet Wright. A Bible reading was given by Gavin Reynolds and spiritual direction by the Revd Geoff Bransgrove Geoff encouraged us to 'look beyond the boundaries', and expect to see changes; to seek greater depth and meaning; to experience the joy of meeting with Jesus who is the friend of lowly outcasts, gracious to the rejected, acknowledges sinners and who ministers with compassion and kindness.

May our lives reflect the depth required to move 'beyond the boundaries' with the expectation of seeing Jesus.

The evening concluded with open prayer time and the sharing of the sacraments.

Saturday began with prayer time and a 'getting to know you' exercise which gave three new members the opportunity to be known and to get know others.

There are going to be two weekends held in the South at Montgomery Park this year and two at Camp Clayton on the North West. This should make it easier for people to participate. The teams for the first of the camps are preparing already; looking forward to having the opportunity of sharing with others in a new and exciting way.
