and looking forward...Preparations are well in hand for the 35th Ecumenical and Community Floral Festival to be held in the Cathedral from 14 - 16th February 2003. The theme for this festival is 'Flowers in Celebration.' Many churches have been invited to participate, but inevitably contact details for some are difficult to trace as office bearers change. If you would like to join us in this offering to the people of Hobart and surrounds, please check whether your church or community group has accepted an invitation - if not, Norma Gordon would be delighted to hear from you by telephone or fax on 6244 1271. As part of the Festival there will be a Sunday afternoon concert of popular music in the Cathedral - so please mark February 16 in your new diaries for 2003! |
