Dallas Williard is the only one still living who is quoted in this book on excerpts from the famous! Compiled by Richard J. Foster, contains excellent, challenging articles and exercises to stretch us. It took us years to move beyond a challenge by C.S. Lewis in this very first pages!

The Diocese of Oxford
This site provides resources for prayer groups. There are materials (see below) that would be helpful for those who would like to engage in study materials that will deepen their understanding of prayer.

It's hard to describe Visions in one sentence!

• A church for people who don't like church.
• A place that feels like home where we can talk about and experience the love of Jesus Christ.
• A place where you can be yourself, with all your doubts, fears and messiness and people will accept you anyway.
• But we're also a bunch of Christians interested in deepening our faith journey through discovering and using our talents in the visual arts, dance music, and technology.

We're part of the Church of England, with a very atmospheric old building, St Cuthbert's Church (York) bits of which date back to 687AD. This website is a wonderful resource for those who want to explore a contemporary and experiential approach to prayer.
