The Parish of Bellerive is seeking a full-time Rector.

St Mark's Anglican Church is located at the heart of the community of Bellerive, an historic area on Hobart's Eastern Shore. Bellerive maintains a village atmosphere with residents spanning a range of ages and socio-economic backgrounds. We value

Assistant Minister - Parish of Burnie
We are a multi-generational parish seeking an ordained person who will minister among us, with particular emphasis on strengthening and developing our existing ministries with families, children and youth.

Assistant Minister - Richmond
The Parish of Sorell, Richmond, and Tasman is looking for an ordained minister with the skills and passion to equip Christians of all ages to live and share the Good News of Jesus. This .5 position is based in the historic township of Richmond, centre of the growing region of the Coal River Valley, 30 minutes from Hobart.

Church Planter - The Diocese of Tasmania

We are seeking a full-time Church Planter to work in partnership with the Bishop, Edge Anglican Church Claremont, and the Bush Church Aid Society to grow a new expression of church life in Brighton, a fast growing community on the northern edge of Greater Hobart. The successful candidate will join the Staff Team at Edge Anglican, Claremont, while being specifically responsible for establishing a new Anglican congregation in Brighton, including raising up a new leadership team.

We are looking for a person gifted in the following:

  • Implementing a strong gospel-centred and contextually sensitive vision in Brighton
  • Leading and discipling a group of people who will form the initial Launch Team of the plant
  • Recruiting and training leaders to do the work of the ministry (Eph. 4:12)
  • Overseeing leaders, volunteers and (in time) staff
  • Regularly preaching and teaching across the various Edge congregations
  • Vision casting and fundraising
  • Liaising with the Edge Leadership regarding finance and legal matters
  • Working closely with the Edge rector as the direct supervisor
  • Working to lead the new Brighton plant to be an self-supporting Anglican parish.
