Media advisory Wednesday 2 July 2008 Thanksgiving service for Christopher NewellA public Service of Thanksgiving for the life of the Revd Canon Dr Christopher Newell AM will be held this Thursday (tomorrow), to which all of Christopher's friends and colleagues are warmly invited. It will take place at the Stanley Burbury Theatre, University of Tasmania, Sandy Bay, commencing at 1pm. Cameras will not be permitted in the service. However, the Anglican Bishop of Tasmania, the Right Reverend John Harrower, will be available for interview outside the Stanley Burbury Theatre after the Service.
