Media advisory Friday 29 February 2008 Statewide Anglican gathering in LauncestonHundreds of people from Anglican churches across Tasmania will be coming together tomorrow, Saturday, at the Door of Hope church, 40 Glen Dhu Street, South Launceston, in the old Coats Patons factory. The occasion is titled Beyond Imagination. Similar Gatherings have been held in 2002 and 2005. The day, from 10am-5pm, will include the newly ordained Bishops Chris Jones and Ross Nicholson, a world recognised a cappella quartet, The Idea of North, a 'low wire' acrobatic act, and more. The Bishop of Tasmania, the Right Reverend John Harrower, will also be speaking to the crowd about his vision for the future of the Anglican Church.
