Media advisory Wednesday 20 December 2006 Bishop's Christmas Message and ServicesThe Anglican Bishop of Tasmania, the Right Reverend John Harrower, will be available for a Christmas message and interview on Saturday 23rd December, at 11:30am, at Constitution Dock (outside Muirs Mures main entrance). Bishop Harrower will be preaching at the Midnight Service at St David's Cathedral, Macquarie St, Hobart, on Christmas Eve, 24th December - the service begins at 11pm. His topic will be "What is peace, and where can we find it?" On Christmas Day, 25th December, the Dean, Dr Lindsay Stoddart, will be preaching at St David's Cathedral on "A baby - the answer to the 'selfish gene'" - the services are at 8am and 10am. Media representatives are welcome at these services and may interview Bishop Harrower or Dr Stoddart following the services. Media are also invited on Christmas Eve, 24th December, to attend the "Live Nativity" at BayWest Anglican Church, corner of Lord and Grosvenor Sts, Sandy Bay, at 5pm (with a repeat at 6:30pm). This event will have numerous animals (donkeys, goats etc), a drama featuring Mary, Joseph and others, and last year attracted 250 kids and adults. Media Officer - Rev.
