Media release Friday 11 August 2006 Cathedral Acts On New NightclubThe Anglican Church has taken action today regarding the proposed activities of the new Players Sports Bar. The tenant of the premises at 121 Macquarie St Hobart, BobnCol Pty Ltd, was this morning served with a notice pursuant to clauses 21, 27 and 18 of the lease with the Church. Among other things, the Church will take action to terminate the lease unless the tenant provides a written undertaking that no nude dancers, showgirls or sexually explicit adult entertainers will perform anywhere on the premises.
