Media release Friday 7 October 2005 Public Invited to Spirituality Forum in Town HallLocal representatives of the Islamic, Christian, Bahai and Buddhist faiths will come together this Monday 10 October 2005, to address key questions about spirituality in the 21st century. Each speaker will be presenting their views on such issues as religion and war, the relevance of God, the afterlife and more. The speakers include Imam Sabri Samson (Hobart Mosque), Rev David Rietveld (BayWest Anglican Church), Mr Salman Stevenson (Bahai) and Venerable Santidhamma (Buddhist Society of Tasmania). The forum is being held at the Hobart Town Hall, Monday 10 October, from 1-2pm. Everyone is welcome. There will be opportunity after the forum to talk to any of the speakers.
