Irfon Griffiths has two children and five grandchildren. He continues to work as a wholesale jeweller, and will be ordained priest and hold the position of Honorary Priest in Charge of the Parish of St Leonards.

They will be ordained by Bishop John Harrower on Saturday 30 April, at 10:30am at Christ Church Longford

Bishop Harrower said, 'I'm delighted to see Irfon and Marie taking up the challenge of serving their church and local community in these new roles. They both bring wide life experiences, and will be a valuable part of the local leadership of the Anglican church in Tasmania.'
