Bishop Harrower on pilgrimage around Tasmania

The Bishop of Tasmania, the Right Reverend John Harrower, has begun a one month 'Prayer Pilgrimage' around Tasmania. He will be traveling in a car specially marked with the sign 'Bishop@prayer'.

During November, he will visit communities in all parts of Tasmania - from Cygnet to King Island, from the West Coast to St Helens, from Circular Head to the Furneaux Islands, and everywhere in between!

Bishop Harrower said, 'I believe that God wants to transform Tasmania into an even more spectacular and wonderful community than it already is. I am being joined by Anglicans and other Christians all around the state, praying that God will do that.'

'It is a great privilege to join with Tasmanians in prayer. We are a spiritual people; this is a deeply spiritual pilgrimage and this spiritual dimension is vital to the future of our state.'
