Parish of Glenorchy - prayer life

The prayer life of our Parish is very much one of praise and thanksgiving, together with special requests and personal needs.

  • The Parish prayer meeting is from 8 am to 9 am on the second, fourth, and fifth Saturdays of the month.
  • There is an open opportunity for members of the congregation to pray during the services of worship.
  • For matters of a personal and private nature there are prayer partners available at the front of the church at the conclusion of the services.
  • There is also a prayer chain which is a group of parishioners who receive prayer requests by telephone, often of an urgent nature. A request is received, is passed to other members of the chain, and prayer is immediately made to God.

Acts of Prayer

  • Adoration
  • Confession
  • Thanksgiving
  • Supplication

  •
    God's answers to our requests:

      Yes  or  No  or  Wait.
