Mission to Seafarers - Hobart

The Hobart Seafarers Club is located at 31 Morrison Street Hobart, at the head of Sullivans Cove and very near to the historic precincts of Salamanca Place, Hobart.

The Centre is open from 18:30 to 22:30. We are open all day when a cruise ship is in port.

The Port of Hobart is a port of call for a number of summer cruise ships and also serves as a base for many Antarctic supply and support vessels.

Facilities at the club include: phones, phone cards, free internet access, foreign exchange, TV, pool table, table tennis, souvenirs, tea/coffee, and chapel.

The Mission to Seafarers, established in England in 1856, serves and ministers to the spiritual and physical needs of people usually separated from home and family for months at a time. Seafarers often work in difficult and dangerous situations to bring us things we need for our daily life.'The Flying Angel Clubs' around the world are open to all seafarers, regardless of nationality or creed.
