I was born in 1948 in Canberra. My family moved to Trevallyn, Launceston in 1952. I attended Trevallyn Primary School, Launceston High School and graduated from Launceston Teachers' College in 1967.

I taught on the North West Coast and have been happily married to Garth since 1970. We have two beautiful daughters and three delightful grandchildren. I retired from teaching in 2001.

I have been a member of St Aidan's Church since I was 12 years old and I have seen many changes. I am very excited about the future of Riverlinks Parish and believe God is doing a wonderful work of grace. My hobbies include studying visual arts at TAFE, travelling 'Outback', gardening and cooking.
