I moved to Tasmania from Wodonga, Victoria 9 years ago and lived in Huonville and then Woodbridge.
I have worked in banking, retail business and office management. While in Huonville, I worked in the office at Grove Research Station. In 1995 I managed a motel in George Town for five months. There I was encouraged to become a Lay Reader, which I duly did on returning to Woodbridge, where I had moved to in 1990, in the Parish of Channel/Bruny. I was later licensed to preach, and took services in all centres including Bruny Island. This was the start of an amazing walk with Jesus.
I was a member of the initial ESM Team in the Parish of Channel/Cygnet until moving to St Helens in 2001.
In 2002 I became part of the team in the Parish of Break O'Day and have been Pastoral Care Coordinator. I have led services, home communions and funerals since then. In July this year I was "called out" to be ordained and Deaconing took place in St Helens on 31 August 2006.
The support of James Collins, Enabler team members and parishioners has been wonderful and I will do my best to continue serving our Lord and any communities in all I can.
All of this has happened since I came to Tasmania. Before that I could not even read a lesson in church!
